CHLOE: So we just got back from Dr. Alysons…
ROB: Yeah it was pretty enlightening, I had no idea that you had a…
CHLOE: No, I don’t have what you’re about to say. I think it was a bunch of hooey, so what if she put some wires and scanners on me,
CHLOE: that test was so silly. I don’t think I believe it. Why would I a woman who is so attracted to the man that’s going to marry her have those kinds of feelings
ROB: I think it’s something to talk about, Dr. Alyson did say that there were other things we could do that could stimulate the desire she thinks she found you have a….
CHLOE: I know, but, really…what did that test say? A STRONG attraction to black men, her report even put it in all caps too.
ROB: Well you have been spending a lot of time around that trainer, Devonte, do you think that’s maybe affected you?
CHLOE: What, no, it can’t be that, that’s just working out, it’s not a big deal, that whole thing was bunk. I don’t even know why we went to see her. This is so stupid.
CHLOE: You don’t think it’s true do you, you don’t think I’m actually attracted to…men like that…do you?
ROB: I mean, I don’t see why it would be a problem, it doesn’t matter if you’re attracted to them, as long as you love me right?
CHLOE: Are you saying it’s okay if the woman who's going to be your wife isn’t attracted to you?
ROB: No, not at all, I know you’re attracted to me but like, when I was younger I kinda had a thing for Asian girls, it’s kind of the same thing, but then I met you and fell in love with you and now I’m attracted to you, just because I think Asian girls are hot doesn’t mean I don’t think you’re the most beautiful woman in the world, does that make sense?
CHLOE: I mean, maybe a little, though I think I would have a different reaction if Dr. Alyson put all those cords and monitors on you and the test came back saying you have a STRONG attraction to Asian women. Like, I can’t be an Asian girl for you and you can’t be…that…for me, so I just don’t see why you’re not a little upset.
ROB: I’m not upset because I love you, and you love me right?
CHLOE: Of course I do…and yeah maybe I get a little hot for a black guy but that doesn’t mean anything, a minor sexual attraction doesn’t mean anything compared to all the feelings I have for you. What I love for you is more than sexual, and I love having sex with you, one bad night doesn’t mean I don’t like the things we do together, this was such a silly thing to get bothered about.
ROB: I agree, but maybe we should take the Doctor’s advice, there are other ways to explore this…we could maybe try the things she said we should try.
CHLOE: Oh, you mean go to the porno store?
ROB: It’s not a porno store…it’s an Adult Book Store, it’s actually pretty high-end, they’re very classy and secretive, it's no big deal
CHLOE: Does it sell porno?
ROB: They sell pornographic movies, yes,
CHLOE: Then it’s a porno store, I don’t know, what if someone sees us?
ROB: You think your friends are going to be frequenting the porno store?
CHLOE: So you admit it’s a porno store!?
ROB: I mean, the Doctor did say that her therapy is all about exploring, why don’t we explore buy some videos, some toys, something that could amp us up, let us have a little more fun, I think it would be really healthy.
CHLOE: Okay, maybe like, we can get some videos or something. But you have to remember, I was in a very tense situation, all her meters and stuff said my heart was racing and that’s what probably made me get all antsy during the test. She got involved and that’s against the scientific method or something. I’m not attracted to black men and I’m not attracted to Devonte.
ROB: I never asked if you were attracted to Devonte…
CHLOE: That’s not what I meant, I’m not…ughh…I’m just, I’m worried that this may make you think you’re not man enough for me because you are, you’re the only man I need
ROB: Why would you think I’m not man enough for you? Is it the muscles? Should I hit the gym more?
CHLOE: No not like that, you’re misunderstanding me, I love you, and I only want to be with you, so if you think it this can help us, I’ll try it, okay?
ROB: Yeah, I really do think it can help us, it’s okay to have fantasies, everyone has fantasies but that doesn’t mean you actually…want to do it…right?
CHLOE: Of course not, I mean, if we’re getting married how could I even make that fantasy happen, you know you’re the only man for me right?
ROB: I know, and your the only girl for me, so okay, we’ll do a little shopping and maybe have some fun, and it will just be that, it will be fun, okay
CHLOE: Okay, I don’t think we’re going to find anything out of this though, I still say that whole test she gave me was stupid…
